Invest Leicestershire helps H Beesley to secure £125,000 emda grant
Leicester-based H Beesley Limited is set for a major expansion which will lead to further growth in its key markets of precision machined components for the power, aerospace and nuclear industries, and create 29 highly skilled jobs.
To house this expansion, the business worked with the Investor Development team at Invest Leicestershire in its search for new premises. Invest Leicestershire also provided an introduction to East Midlands Development Agency's (emda's) Selective Finance for Investment in England (SFIE) grant scheme.
emda has awarded H Beesley £125,000 to support its £1.6 million investment in state of the art production equipment and a new additional site at Freemans Common, just down the road from their current city-centre site which employs 83 staff. The additional Freemans Common site will increase the company's capacity to take on larger, more strategic projects.
H Beesley's Managing Director, Richard Clarke, said: "We are very pleased to be embarking on this ambitious investment project which will help us continue to grow and build on our key markets both at home and overseas. It's a big step forward for us and we are delighted that emda has recognised our potential with this grant".
