City Centre Masterplan
A new refreshed Masterplan will continue to deliver the vision for change in central Leicester over the next 10 years. This is regeneration with a purpose – it will examine the long-term needs of Leicester – its economy, jobs structure, housing supply, shopping and general image and ask what physical changes can contribute to all these. It will build on the original 2002 masterplan prepared by Roger Tym and Partners.
A draft of the Refreshed Masterplan will be published in summer 2009 for public consultation.
