An ongoing £3 billion programme of investment in Leicester has created a £350 million retail and leisure development, a complete overall for city centre streets and space, the iconic Curve theatre, 10,000 sq m of Grade A office space in the new Business Quarter and the Phoenix Square digital media centre opening later in 2009.

The City - Leicester's Business Renaissance

  • 1,700 new homes being planned in the Lee Circle area of the city
  • The redevelopment of the city's waterside with new housing and leisure developments including the impressive No.1 Westbridge, designed by the world renowned Ian Simpson Architects
  • £60 million iconic waterside housing development designed by award winning architect Ian Simpson
  • Other county developments such as St John's Business Park in Lutterworth and Charnwood Business Park in Loughborough offer smaller companies offices in excellent locations.
  • The digital media centre - Phoenix Square - offering three screens, new business accomodation and city living apartments.
