03-03-2010 | INNES ENGLAND NAMED TOP REGIONAL AGENT FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR
Commercial property agent Innes England has once again picked up Most Active Agent in the Estates Gazette Interactive 2009 Deals competition. The regional property agent walked away with the overall title as well as the number one position in both the Office and Industrial/Distribution categories.
The EGi Deals Competition is an independent survey conducted by the EGi Research team covering commercial property transactions. It is designed to establish the agents completing the largest number of deals during 2009.
Peter Doleman, Head of Agency at the company's Leicester office, said: "We are delighted to have been named the most active agent across the whole region. To achieve this three years running is testament to another year of hard work by the team and reflects our unique position with offices in Leicester, Nottingham and Derby to be able offer such extensive coverage across the region.
"Whilst market conditions remain challenging going into 2010, we firmly believe local market knowledge and tenacity will ensure we retain our market leading performance enabling us to ensure that clients are able to achieve their goals be it an acquisition or disposal at the most competitive terms."
To win the award, Innes England completed hundreds of deals during 2009 in all categories and size bands. Leicester highlights included the letting at Goodman's office development, Colton Square, to Learn Direct who acquired over 25,000 sq ft and the sale of the Southgates bus station enabling Arriva's relocation.
